Red Hook

This is at the back of Fairways grocery store. I've been going to Red Hook a lot lately because it gives me something to do on alternate side of the street parking days. Turning necessity into virtue, that's what I'm all about these days.

I know Red Hook is near the water, but train tracks (and a deserted train) behind a grocery store? Interesting.

Really great! The feeling and the depth- and the palette- love it!

The Fairways in Red Hook is a great place to shop and you can get lunch there and sit outside on the water and see the Statue of Liberty. The old trams are right outside and there is an Ikea next door. I don't know if you live in New York but it makes for a great day out if you have a car, although you can get a water taxi there as well. I don't know, maybe you live in Michigan or something.

Thanks Memi, I always value your opinion.

This is one of my favorite things to look at while I eat one of their dangerously good sandwiches or pancakes on a rainy Sunday morning.
I'm developing an addiction to your drawings. Thanks a lot. All I need is more addictions.

How cool is this? I feel like I'm taking a back roads tour of your digs. I love the drippy rust marks on the tram. I would love to see a painting of this.

Sam, thanks for stopping by, maybe I'll see you out there some time, I always get a sandwich too.

Shelia, I'm thinking about that, thanks.

Genine, it's just the wap Pelikan ink hits a moleskine sketch book, try it.

Chad, that's alternate side of the street parking for you.

Hans, you mean "Dude" ...right?
