I didn't post for a while because I was back in the UK, mostly in this pub drinking pints with my dad. this is the second painting I have done of the bar, it's a beauty.

The Old Forge

Happy New Year everybody, I going to post a drawing a day all year long and so far I've only missed 1 day, not bad if i say so myself. See you tomorrow.
By the way, this is the most remote pub on mainland Britain, what have you got to say about that.

The Artichoke

I was back in the UK for a while visiting the folks, had many a pint in here with my parents, I've got many drawings to share, I just have to get back in to the habit of daily blogging, bare with me.

The Artichoke

I painted this one for my dad, it's the pub where he and my mum go for a drink most days, an absolute beauty. I'm looking forward to being back for a pint in there myself later this year.

The Woolpack

This is the Woolpack in Chilham, another 15th century old pub with a fire place inside that is bigger than most studio appartments in New York.

The Local

This is The Local, the third pub in my parent's village, this one does have a TV and is run by an Indian family so you can a get a great curry in here too. Beer, football and Indian food, not bad at all.

The Artichoke

The Artichoke is my favorite of the pubs where my parents live. This 15th century Inn has three working fireplaces and even an old well that is
inside the building but the best part is, no television, how is that for progress?

The City Arms Inn is another of my favorite Canterbury bars. It's in a 15th century building and the pub has been around for over 300 years. The two lads outside asked me to put them in the drawing, James and Terry Gallacher, all the way from bonnie Scotland.

Cricketers

This is my favorite pub in Canterbury, The Cricketers, I don't like cricket, boring game played by people who weren't good at football, but the pub is wonderful and those lucky enough to get to Canterbury should pop in for a pint.
