Made It For Sunday

I missed posting on Saturday because I unexpectedly found myself in Montauk. These things happen from time to time, I'm pleased to say. My friend Eddy and I did a caricature drawing session from 10pm to 3am at the C.W post university on Long Island and then things kind of spiraled from there. Montauk is freezing at the moment but it was fun.

10pm to 3am!?! Talk about pulling an allnighter! You guys are hard core. That's like the decathlon of illustration. I'm still on my first quarter mile.

Hey Sheila, my friend Eddy who hires me for these events refers them to the artistic equivalent to digging ditches. You have a line of students who have been waiting for over an hour to sit in front of you for 10 minutes and you have to give them something that doesn't make then hate you, it's nonstop for 5 hours we got back to the hotel at 3.30 drank a couple of beers and collapsed.

Isabel- thanks, subway drawing really forces you to think fast and cut out the nonsense.

I really enjoy all of your artwork, but I really like the way you approached this one. The linework is very organic and I just feel like this has a much more wholesome feel to it than some of your others. All great though! ^.^
