This is the final version of the painting. The challenge was getting to fit the composition into a square format. This painting will be hung at the Society of Illustrators some time in December along with a bunch of other artists work all fitting a 12x12 inch format. I think they all get put up for auction which maybe be an online affair, if that is true I'll let you know. There should be some bargains to be had.

I feel like I've been here before...
Wow... we all need to be reminded that you are in the end a Fine Artist and this sketching are like daily work outs for the culmination of masterful works such as this. *sigh* (now imagine stars and hearts shooting out of my eyes and heading your way)
I agree with the start and hearts shooting out of Sheila. Fabulous piece the light in your piece has that perfect glow.
I wish I could capture light like you do, the bar top does it for me! An amazing piece of work!
Dynamite piece. Have one on me until I can get there myself.
Jeff
I'd bid a tenner! Dude, you gotta be pleased with that one.
Hans, why start the bidding so high? That's me out of the bidding already.
Love this painting Stevie-boy-wonder.
Hang on a minute, that's Jeff in the painting isn't it?
Chad, you've seen it and lived it.
Sheila, you are way too kind, thank you so much.
Dominique, the light was my major concern, thanks.
Stephen, thanks, I hope it inspired you to nip out for a pint.
Jeff, just let me know if you make it to the city.
Aminsiam, thanks.
Han's a tenner might well do it.
Fraser, we'll have a couple in here next time you are over, it's not Jeff but it should be.
This is a great painting Stephen!
Thanks Liz, I want to get started on the next one.
This is absolutely wonderful!
