Hey! Just logged on to show a colleague your handywork and just as I did you posted this. I like A - but that's cos that's the one I looked at all through my trip. And can I just say, thank you for not using my feet! ;o)
I'm with you on that Stephen. My eye on A & B went to the black dress... on C by cropping the top of the dress I followed the lines right down to the legs, which I missed with my first glance at A & B.
I missed the legs in A and when I needed a double-take in B because of seeing them, I had to return to A and find them. The legs are definitely obvious in C and a bit funnier. A and B remind me of a crime scene, but C has a bit more humor.
I think "C"works for the reasons given above. However, I am having a hard time visualizing the corpse laying out flat as the back wall of the closet isn't shown deep enough.
"C" is the best expression of "dead body in a closet" (although it took me a minute to realize what the subject was!), but I do like the juxtaposition of the shoes and the legs in "B". I wonder if adding it into "C" would clutter it up and make the idea less clear.

I have to agree with Larry; I didn't really notice the legs until I looked at C.

Great artwork - worrying imagery! LOL
I like C too but as a former flatfoot, I'm thinking I'm going to have to start looking for her torso.
I noticed the legs in all of them but agree that C makes the best presentation.
Hey Stephen, congratulations on the Society of Illustrators using your piece to announce the upcoming show.

Dude, everyone thinks the girl is brown bread, I think she's just fixing the plumbing. Closets often have pipes running through them. Its C for me.
Steve - Congratulations on the award at the Society - we're so pleased for you!! Looking forward to a follow up celebration on Dec 30th!

"C", though I am sure they will go for "F" then change it a lot. No mean feat.
It's 'C' by a landslide, thar art director on the other hand chose 'A' because that's the state of the art.
I'm painting up 'A' and trying to bring as much 'C' into it as possible and will post the end result when it's finished.
Thanks for all your comments, I wish you were all my art director.
hahahaha, fun drawings, love the legs.
"A" was nearly what I said actually.
That's twice in as many days, "juxtaposition" has come up... what does it mean?
