Ring Design

I'm putting together another lecture for high school kids on the importance of drawing and this is an aspect of my career I rarely if ever talk about but it's an opportunity that came about for me through being able to draw. This is a pencil design of a ring for a client to see a his specific stone in an already existing jewelry design. If the client wants to go ahead with the ring i might be asked to do a color rendering, I'm always up for that. I must have done a thousand of these drawings.

Wow, what a great design! Proof of the beauty in a technical rendering.

That's great that you're doing another lecture for the kids, Steve! They need all the information and inspiration they can get.

I'm really enjoying the lecturing thing at the moment, I did realize how much I had to say on the subject.
I hope I can find more places to talk.

Gorgeous! I used to do these kind of drawing [not at your expert level of course] to describe stolen jewelry when I was taking burglary reports. I had a flashback when I saw this.
