Kinsale Tavern

Of all the bars in Manhattan I have the longest history with this one (20 years). It's located on 3rd Avenue between 93rd and 94th st and I used to live across the street which made this my first local pub. Coming from England where all the pubs close at 11pm I used to love that I could finish a book jacket painting at 3am and pop over the road for a pint.

I love the flags out front, like they're beckoning us all in for a good time. 3am? What time do bars close in NYC? They close at 2 in Cali.

They close at 4am in New York although you can always find a place to keep going if you are in the mood thus giving the opportunity to drink until the sun comes up and then go and have breakfast at a diner on the way home, not that I've ever done that myself of course.
