Franklin Park

I'm not so sure about this drawing but then as much as I enjoy Franklin Park as my local bar it doesn't have the ambiance of McSorley's and the like. Many of my more successful drawings (according to me anyway) of late have come from dramatic lighting. Gotta draw em all anyway.

Actually, I like this one especially. I like being able to see the characters' expressions. Of course, all of the bar scenes are great that you do.

Is that an overhead garage door? I guess you'd hang out anywhere they have a tap.

Rob- thanks, I really appreciate hearing that from you, I almost didn't post this one.

Larry- yes it is and yes I would.

I just like your bar drawings no matter what bar you're sitting in! I like this.

It's a bar, am I right? that implies drink and sketch, after a few, the lighting becomes perfect, no matter what the lighting is, so you're doing the right thing.

I love your bar sketches specially how you work the mirror and glass reflections that you excell at, this sketch is great but didn't bring out in you what the others do . I find it normal we react to our surroundings and a place that shows to be more of a challenge will bring the best out of us or so we try
