Danny Gregory

This was a golden opportunity. Danny Gregory was giving a talk at FIT last night so what else was I going to do but sit a draw the guru of drawing. I know that if you're reading this blog you will most likely know all about Danny and if you don't, hey that's why I invented Google for you.

Hey, Steve. Thought about you as we were sketching last night, and I'm glad to see you were doing some sketching of your own! Hope the lecture was a good one.

Looking forward to Monday. I definitely need a heavy dose of my favorite Englishman.

Happy to oblige, got plenty of catching up to do. I'm off to McSorley's with Chad today, meeting at one, Call in sick and join us.

You have no idea how much I wish I could do that. I'll be there in spirit...Knock one back for me and have a great time!

I used to do this kind of stuff all the time. During my career, we were required to have recertification classes every year so I accumulated over 1000 hours of training. I drew almost all my instructors.

I find it's possible to both draw and listen which works out well. Walking and chewing gum however...

Great portrait -- he is also instantly recognizable.
