I agree with you Steve. "The Hand of Clod" was the headline here.... And you just knew Heskey wasn't going to score, one on one with the goalie, perfect through ball, boots it straight at his knees. Brilliant. He can't be the second best striker in England, surely!?!?! Oh, and nice sketch, dude.

I was gutted, we woz robbed and all that, not to mention sick as a parrot.
It was business as usual as far as major tournaments go and this was the first time Cappello got a look at the real England. Now he knows he's got a job on his hands, cruise through the qualifiers and then stumble at the fist hurdle, it was all so familiar. I can't even blame Rob Green, the weight of History was stacked against him. We'll still make it to the quarters and loose on penalties though.

I reckon we'll sneak into the semis, then, who knows? We're up against either Germany, Portugal or Argentina. 4-4 in the penalty shootout, and they miss one. Up steps Heskey, he only has to score and we're through..... Oh dear.

Semis? I'd like to see that for sure. I'm feeling a little better about things this morning. Semis though?
Friday can't come soon enough, show us a good performance and I might put my England flag back up.

Just in Time Fraser, we are trying not to blame the goalkeeper, how you doing?
