My Favourite View

This is a watercolor I did whilst sat on the porch of our favorite house upstate. We visit this place when ever we can and I love to sit on the porch and stare off into the distance. This is my first attempt at a pure watercolor painting in a big moleskine watercolor pad, it's about 23 inches wide.

Dear Stephen,
Thank you for visiting my blog! "58.4cm" wide paper...wow! That'll be fun. 'd love to see the outcome.
Cheers, wink, wink,
Sadami

WOW! This captures the "outdoors" feel and is simple but has enough detail to be realistic and not too impressionistic!

23 is my lucky number and a good format for your watercolors! I'm really enjoying going through your blog. Keep up the nice work!

You should take a high res scan of this and post it. It'd make a good iPad wallpaper.
