Studebaker Building

I've been eyeing this one for a sketch for sometime and yesterday proved to be the day. It used to be a showroom for Studebaker cars but now it seems to be apartments. It sticks out like a saw thumb in Crown Heights. I'm sketching Brooklyn a lot at the moment so I can get back to posting on Urban Sketchers.

Didn't we walk by that building when I was down there? I seem to recall you mentioning a future drawing. Nice windows.

You bring slices of New York life so beautifully to people like me who've never been there!

Thanks Liz, it means a great deal to me to hear that. I'm work on documenting the changes taking place in Brooklyn right now.

Lovely! Reeks of nostalgia for some reason?
