Fanelli's Cafe

I've been turning my attention to this place lately, this is not a drawing that conveys the charm of the place to me so it's back to the drawing board. I was trying t make too much of the fact that this is the only bar I know of with a soup kiosk. I'll be posting more Fanelli's drawings in the near future. Every time I think I'm closing in on this book I'm reminded of yet another bar to add, it really is endless.

Great drawing, Steve. I've had a lot of good times at Fanelli's...I think it was the first bar in NYC that I ever went to. Plus, who doesn't love a good soup kiosk?

Hope you can make it tonight.

You'll just have to have a series of books. Like the Zagat books. That way the publishers will pay you to go to different cities to draw the local establishments.
