Carin

this is a study of a model from Burt Siverman's class during my MA program at FIT. It's probably my first oil painting and Angie suggested I post this today, I'm currently working on an oil portrait that I'll post on completion. Happy Sunday good people of the world.

I love this Steve, you were born to paint in oils. Can't wait to see more! It looks like you really enjoyed laying down the paint. I'd love to see some of your sketch of the days develop into paintings

I remember her! That was a great class, Burt Silverman. It was the first time for me to oil paint from live with a model, I didn't do as good as you.
But the experience was wonderful.
cheers

Steve, this is so beautiful... Can I commission u for a portrait?

Heidi, you're too modest, I'm sure it's great, are you going to post it on your blog?

angela, you are his biggest fan (I'm assuming this is the infamous "Angie") How are your paintings coming along?
