5 Minute Ink Study

This was done at an Alumni drawing class at FIT. We had two such sessions last week. The first one yielded nothing blogable for myself but my friend Bri,on the other hand, was going great guns with some part of a tree dipped in ink, SEE FOR YOURSELF. I was so impressed I broke out the inks myself, but hats off to Bri.

Nice one, Steve! I always love what you do with your inks, and this beauty is no exception to that rule.

Thanks so much for the link, the kind words, and for being such an extraordinary friend. Hope you have a fantastic time this weekend -- I look forward to hearing all about it.

Nice. I'm taking a mixed media class at Emily Carr this summer, and we worked with inks today with japanese brushes. We looked at Motherwell's work, and did a collage of our 3 second ink studies with gels, acrlyics adn watercolour...so much fun. I like your gestures.

Bri, Happy Birthday to you, it's always great to see you. Hope you got some kind of result on Friday.

Michelle, I'd like to see those, I'd better check to see if you posted them.
