2nd Anniversary
Hello good people of the World, yes I've made it to my second year of Daily blogging that amounts to 781 posts including this one and 5 days missed in total, not bad for 7 days a week including vacations and national holidays and such. So what now, I'm going to keep going although as i have remarked recently I need to find a way to keep things fresh and try not to sacrifice quality for quantity, I'm not sure how this will be accomplished but I'm always looking for a new twist to make it interesting for myself as well as those of you who are generous enough to keep coming back.
I have enjoyed the support over these last couple of years and enjoyed making new friends through this artist journey, thanks one and all.
This is a drawing of Brooklyn, the second in my water tower series although those ubiquitous golden arches kind of stole focus.
Thanks again.
Stephen

Let me be the first to say.... DUDE!!
Thanks Hans, I'm so glad you did.
Congratulations Stephen! A great accomplishment.
Yippee!! Wow, just the sound of 781 posts makes me want to take a nap. I think all of us bloggers can empathize with wanting to find ways to keep our blogging fresh. It does become like work after awhile. At least for me who despises routine! And, routine without pay, dammit!!
Well, you've certainly got my attention. And, I wonder if McDonald's would be interested in your sketch. Hey, are ya looking for a publicist? :)
Happy Anniversary, Stephen.
In the spirit of your golden arches post, I think that you, too, can say that there has been over one billion served- with your great art, spirit, and good humor.
Whichever way you decide to take it, good luck....
congratulations for having posted all those sketches. your workis funny sometime and always fresh love the water towers series
Bloody impressive Stephen, keep em coming.
Heeeeyyy!! Lovin' the water towers - a whole new era for you to add to the bars/tills/nudes combo! Congrats on your long standing achievement and I feel honoured to have party to 2 of the 5 missed days...taking no blame whatsoever :o) You'll come up with something fresh - you always do...
Quite impressive, 2 years of daily sketches! Hope there's much more to come. Congratulations Stephen and thanks for your visit.
Congrats mate.....looking fwd to spending some time with you 'sketching' bars in August when we're over next ;-) That will keep you fresh..or should that be refreshed!!!!???

Happy blog birthday! Five days missed in two years is seriously impressive.
I loathe McDonald's, but this is great! Enjoyable sketch.
Happy 2 years!
Huzzah!
And love the sketch here. Keep it real. --s
I tip my hat and raise a big ol' black-and-tan to you , sir.
You should really feel good about this. Your dedication and commitment make it much bigger than any individual drawing can say. What an incredible body of work!
I'm buying next round.
Jeff
I feel the same way about my "Art By-Products." I post whatever I do at Trader Joe's or whatever I resurrect from my photo archives, or if I manage to draw something on the spot that day. I want to keep posting day after day too but hope it doesn't get repetitive or dull. I always look at yours and admire it, you seem to be able to get a lot more live sketching done than I do. I feel guilty I don't get more live sketching, but I'm going to continue anyway and congratulations on your blogyears, which are not dogyears or dog-eared.
Congrats to you Stephen! So remarkable and such an accomplishment. I remember back when you proposed the daily sketch! I've watched it grow as well. You're an inspiration to all of us sketches out there.
Kudos !
Congratulations on your accomplishment. I am in awe and amazement.
Thanks so much for your comments everyone, you all inspire me to continue with this blog, originally it was a year long project but I guess a third year won't do any harm.
I hope you will all keep coming back.
Thanks again.
And not a bad one amongst them!I did it for a month and really struggled, so hats off to you! Well impressed!!
it's a hard job but someone's got to do it
Thanks, Stephen and Ellis, I'm still coming to terms with the demands of this venture, I appreciate your comments.
I love what you do, Stephen! Congratulations---what an amazing accomplishment!
Thanks Laureline, I need all the encouragement I can get.
