As promised. I had a great time at the Society last night with my former MA colleges
BRI and
MONIKA.It was about as quiet a night as I've seen on a Thursday which made it all the more enjoyable with plenty of elbow room to draw and at the bar, my kind of night. Oh and by the way, I had my application for citizenship approved yesterday so I'll be sworn in as a fully fledged American very soon. I think I get cake.

You'll always be a Hempsteadian.

Me thinks Ed is munching on sour grapes this morning.
Yay for you! Yay for the US for acquiring another great artist to call our own.
I love this sketch. I can see it as a painting as well.
Congratulations! America is better off. Now, can you sell some drawings and help spur the economy?
Good one Steve, sorry I missed it. Catch you next week.
Congrats mate...and good nipples...or is that just lowering the tone of your Blog....mine can't get any lower!!! :-)
Steve for President- Life drawing sessions for all!

WOW!
Beautiful drawing....
I learn a lot from figurative drawing / sketch done by an artist ....
Congratulations, Stephen!
And, regarding what iainbrydon said, do they have to be so damn perfect:)
Citizen Steve checking in, I was told I had the drop the "ph" version of Stephen because it sounds too English and delicate ( delicate wasn't the word used but you get the drift).
Anyway thanks for all you taking the time to congratulate me on my new status. Once sworn in I'll be able to do jury duty, I've always fancied myself as a crime fighter.
Steve for President? I'll form a committee and look at into it.
As for the nipples, hey she was blessed with the gift that goes on giving.
Lovely drawing, Steve. As always, it was great to spend time with you that night. Here's to doing it again next week.
