Hanging Around

Last night I did another caricature event with Eddy which was for a party being held in an airplane hanger. At these events one must always arrive early to pander to the paranoia of the event organizers. On this particular occasion it gave me a chance to knock this out. Thus turning necessity into virtue. Happy Sunday good people of the world.

That doesn't look like just any hanger. You must have drawn a lot of crew cuts.
Nice drawing!

Hey Larry, you are right again, I was actually at The Cradle Of Aviation Museum on Long Island, quite the party destination. First thing this morning I couldn't bring myself to type The Cradle Of Aviation Museum and now I've just done it twice. What else should I do today now I have that kind of energy.

Nice!
Hope you don't mind me always asking about the medium (my 2nd time in 2 days). I'm slowly learning and getting a feel for these things, partially by observation, for which your blog is just wonderful.
I'm seeing pencil and pens and gray Pitt pens. did I get it right?

An F-14 Tomcat! I did one for a book about 15 years ago, rather different in style to your supersonic (geddit?) sketch.

I agree with Hans.

Moish, this one was done with a ruling pen dipped in ink and a water brush to blend, there a little graphite in there as well.

Hans, I knew you would know. You would get a kick out of this place.

Fraser, I agree with you agreeing with Hans.
