Mars Bar

This place is such a dive I'm still coming up for air. I've know of the Mars Bar for years but finally ventured in with my friend BRI last Friday. 25 E. First Street at Second Ave in case you are in the vicinity. If you want to know what's doing on the inside(and I know that you do) come back tomorrow and all will be revealed.

I bet the sketch is shed loads nicer than the bar itself. Nice work Steve.

Cheers Fraser, we had quite a day of it kicking off with the beer sampler at the Heartland.

This is awesome, Steve! I'm glad I could be there for your first trip to the Mars Bar -- can't wait to see how you handle the elegance of it's interior. Thanks for making my Friday a blast.

It was a truly great Friday Bri, we'll do it all again sometime.

I'm imagining about three blokes at the bar, with lots of tattoos, who have already downed about 4 pints before lunch. The barman would be Moe from the Simpsons and anyone who came in and started sketching with their fancy artist ways would be lucky to escape with their life. Am I close?

So close, you'll see in tomorrow's sketch.

Can't wait to see the inside... You certainly did a great job on the outside and also left us with a mystery...

Everybody loves a mystery. Thanks Sandy.
