Citizen Stephen

Today is the day I salute the flag and become a citizen of the United States. I don't have to go to the moon to do it and I'll be wearing a different kind of suit but this was the most appropriate image I could find. It's been quite a week.

Congratulation, Stephen! I have always thought that it must take much courage to move to another country, and even more to become a citizen. Enjoy the adventure!

Congrats, Steve!

Hope to have some celebratory pints with you soon. Something this big calls for heavy drinking. It's the American way.

Congrats, Stephen....I became a citizen about ten years ago and it was a proud day for me after a long process. Hope you have a really good day and have a pint to celebrate afterwards. Hey, this means you HAVE to vote now (lol)...

I want to thank all of you for taking the time to comment, I can now report it's official, I've been sworn in but it so nearly didn't happen on account of a traffic ticket I got a month ago for talking on a cell phone when I didn't have a cell phone with me. It's way too long a story but I all's well that ends well. I will be telling the full story over pints at some point, coming to a bar near you.

Thanks again, I'm proud to be an American!

Congratulations on your citizenship! I'm amazed at the time, effort and money people spend to become American citizens. I'm sure you feel proud (and relieved that all the paperwork is over with).

Congrats and Welcome!I have all kinds of politically incorrect remarks to make, but I will save them for the next time we meet...

By the way, I've spent my time at the Ear. It was great to see her again. You did the place proud. Inside was cool too....

Looking to catch up with you soon.
