Ava

Ava is the daughter of our friends Simon and Olga, we had all spent the day watching and then celebrating Spain's World Cup victory. Ava allowed me draw her whilst she was reading later that evening. She was a great model, barely moving a muscle.

Celebrating Spain? I am still devastated the Dutch lost. They played the beautiful game.... (OK, not very well and with a bit of kick boxing thrown in) and lost 1-0. Squandered the two best chances too. Only themselves to blame, but it still hurts. Why do we watch it? I'm almost too depressed to say nice drawing Steve, but not quite.

Thanks Hans, I wound up rooting for Spain because Ava's mum Olga is half Spanish, half Scottish. The classic combo.
I'll be watching out for Capello's first post World Cup squad, I think I might be in it.
