Sketch Crawl

This was my first sketch crawl and it turned out to be a great day. We met at the bar Vazac's at 2pm and got stuck in, so to speak. There were six of us in attendance including Bri, Peter, Mel, Steve and Juliane. After a good drawing session that included Bri and I both doing a drawing using a stick of celery (I'll post that one tomorrow), we moved on the the Sidewalk Cafe. It was a good days drawing, drinking and chatting about art. This is my new record for links in a single post, what a day.

Yesterday was such a great time! Let's get together again soon. Also, I have some celery photos I'll send your way.

And I love how you totally captured Vazac's in this drawing. Perfect.

Fraser, we had a good time on the Guinness.

Bri, we'll certainly get together again soon that was a great day out.

I find celery a little stringy for drawing, a nice firm carrot is much better. But let see how you did with the celery....

We are in an experimental phase.

Glad you joined in.

What about the link for the sketchcrawl results?

Interesting idea about the celery... had you been on a few to many Bloody Marys beforehand?

Sue, thanks i should go to that link, this is all new to me. I'm sure the celery was meant for the Bloody Marys but we got to it first.
