Nabbed this one yesterday on the way into the city. Drawing makes commuting tolerable.

It's been quite a while since I've been able to post one of Angie's paintings but scroll down to see what she's been up to. She's on a bit of a roll at the moment.

I strongly agree with Fraser.

A real beauty! (or, I agree with Fraser & Hans)
the 3/4 angle, the wider composition, the fact that she's reading and not sleeping, and just a great drawing.

She could also be asleep?

I knew when I sat down that this was going to be a good one. She got of the train sooner than I cared for but other than that she was a perfect subject. Thanks dudes.

I know the feeling. I used to commute from Bellerose, Queens to Chinatown. I sketched everyday to make the commute tolerable. I loved it! Now, I miss it! I drive into the Bronx to teach and sketch on the train only when I am heading into the city.

I love your sketches!
