Running

Running from the holiday spirit perhaps. This is a really old book cover that hasn't seen the light of day for all the obvious reasons. This goes back to a time when I didn't know that I didn't know what I was doing. As for running from the holiday spirit, I sometimes wish I could take a year off or maybe it should be like the World Cup and come every four years. Any thoughts?

I don't want to disagree as much as I want to give you licence to enjoy it. Of course I hate the commercialism if it all. Who doesn't? But, it's the only time of year that the corporate world takes a holiday and allows us to make the time to visit guilt free. Spread some of that famous Gardner love and cheer around that you and Angie have in abundance and the rest of humanity craves.. It's better than anything for sale at the mall.
Peace,
L

What can I say Larry, you are absolutely right. That's what happens when I post early in the mornings without my first cup of tea. Great card BTW.
Have a great time with the family and I'll open a bottle of holiday spirit right now.

I know what you mean Stephen, maybe "out of the muck grows the lotus" and we become stronger by making it through the season.

Emikk, I'm feeling a little more festive today, it is the commercialism that gets me down. Have a good one.

Cole, feel better babe, hope that card shows up today.

I enjoy all of your art even if you do not think some of it is up to par. Merry Christmas to you.
