This is where it all began. By that I mean drawing with a ruling pen in the style. March 2007 I did THIS drawing and three years later I'm back to see where I'm at. I'm going to have to think about this one.
Well you improved . I like this one's delicate touch and the choice of colors is great too. That aqua if such a nice compliment and makes the building and bench so perfect. Very nice sketch
Great drawing, Stephen! But I have to ask, how on earth do you draw with a "ruling pen"? I'm picturing one of those ancient, tweezers-like things that you have to feed with an eye dropper of India ink, the kind I used to use back when I drew comics (before I discovered the Rapidograph). I love the brown line you've got here.

Good post and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you as your information.
This is a beautiful drawing. I particularly like how you rendered the palm tree trunk.
Lovely stuff Steve.
No doubt Hans will disagree.
Thanks everyone, I really pleased with the drawing from yesterday which I will try and post on Monday if my scanner plays ball.

Anthony, yes that's exactly the thing, they are fun to draw with.
Looks like the Palisades to me, another favorite place of mine...great job.
