Here we go again, loose transparent washes over a tight pencil drawing, building up the values bit by bit and finishing with a little opaque color for the final detail.

This is the second in the series of these drawing I'm doing for a client in England. I'm having fun here so long may the series last. I'm working on the finish at the moment so I'll post it at the end of the week.

Since I missed yesterday, here is an extra post, this being the mock up with type. I always enjoy seeing these because the I'm always aware about leaving space for the type so the type always ties the image together.

3 More Sketches

More art direction and 3 more sketches as we try to nail something down. These were that last sketches submitted before going for a color sketch and then the final. Stay tuned, it's all starting to unfold.

2 More Sketches

A couple more quick sketches as we are seeking a solution. It's not often that I make this many sketches but as I've often said, this is a very enjoyable part of the process. Throw out as many ideas as you can and see what sticks. I always try to give more than I'm asked for. I like drawing so why not.
