Snooky's

I'm getting back to this bar book again and going through old sketch books. This was one is from 2005 and the bar "Snooky's" no longer exists. I was only in there this once because I couldn't bring myself to drink in a place called "Snooky's". This drawing won't make the cut for the book but it does serve as a reminder of how I started the process.

Alchemy

Alchemy is a great little bar in Park Slope, Brooklyn on 5th avenue. "so what?" I hear you cry, "My word, didn't we wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." is my response to that. I guess the honeymoon's over.

Tea Lounge

So you made it through to another weekend. Congratulate yourself by grabbing a cup of coffee at your local hangout, in this case the Tea Lounge on Union St, Park Slope, Brooklyn. For some of you that's going to be to far to come but I'm sure you'll make do with whatever is on your doorstep. I'm clearly not yet thinking straight but then, like you, at least I made it this far.

Memorial

this bicycle is a memorial for a woman rider who was hit by a truck on fith ave in Park Slope.

Chad Draws Angie

Angie was drawing the building across the street, Chad was drawing Angie, I was drawing Chad and some bloke behind me was bemoaning the fact that he'd left his crayons on the bus.

The patrons at the Tea lounge in Park Slope have been know to produce up to 13 screenplays a day.

Since it's opening day and all I'm adding another drawing. Brookyln is now quite the holiday destination, I guess that's why my life feels like one big holiday these days.
