White Horse Tavern
Here is the layout for my next painting, I got a few things to take care of but this is the look of it. Day time scene, lots of light and color. I think it's going to be good.

Iain and Gills
I finished this one yesterday, pushing the vignette thing a little. Iain and Gill's love Pete's Tavern and here they are loving it again.

Fanelli Cafe
I finished this one last night having started it in early September of last year. It feels good the wrap it up and get on to the next one. I think this was the hardest one yet but I learned some stuff that I can carry on to the other paintings in this series.
What a load off.

Bronze Medal Winner
Okay, this sight has become a bit of a joke lately, "Sketch of the Day" has come to mean sketch of the "whenever". It's is a new year however so I'm ready to renew my efforts, I have the drawings I just need to get back into the daily habit. I feel like I'm ready to take this on again so here we go.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This painting won a bronze medal at the Society of Illustrators West show which is a positive way to start the new year and a positive endorsement for my continuing bar project. The sketchbook part of which will be available this year as a book titled 'The Little Gem".
We'll see what happens but as far as I'm concerned I'm back. Hope you are all having a wonderful start to the new year.
