International Women's Day

I just found this out so here is an international woman for you, Bette Davis. This is a small 5x7 inch painting in gouache(what else?) that I did for a class assignment some years ago. I'm off to LA tonight so expect some palm trees coming at you very soon.

To my mind, a great example of knowing when it's okay to not have to work into the painting any further.
Hans, whaddya reckon?
Nice work.

Have a good trip NY-Steve.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the "cat bugler" in the background.
