Urban Sketchers

I posted this image yesterday on the Urban Sketchers blogsite. This is a great new site that allows sketchbook enthusiasts from around the world to contribute to one great site. I urge you to check it out, there are multiple postings from around the globe on a daily basis. What I'm enjoying is the chance to see so many different styles of sketching and each time you check somebody has posted something new.

Hi Stephen - I've linked with you via my great pal Anita Davies' blog. So glad I took a peep as I am bowled over by your work. Sketch a day at this standard - incredible. Such diversity of media. Made me jump when the halloween post scrolled up.!!

Thanks everyone. Joan, I'm glad you stopped by. I'm going to have to be on my metal a bit more for this Urban Sketchers blog.

This is a great drawing, I love the perspective of the train laid over the tracks and the fence in the background. What kind of pen are you using? You get a great, varied line that I haven't really been able to archive with the materials I've been using.

I ure a ruling pen dipped in ink for these drawings and sometimes drag a candel cross the page to build up a resistance, hope that helps.
