As the weather improves I can start drawing outdoors again and also I always feel like adding color when the sun comes out. This is the fire house on 18th st between Broadway and 5th in Manhattan.
It's that Friday evening feeling. It's one's right as a working stiff to knock off on a Friday and complain bitterly about one's boss, everybody has one and in this case the chap in the green shirts boss is a complete horse's arse.
We went to see the Proclaimers last night at BBKings on 42nd st. It was dark and crowded and they were on a distant stage but I had a go. You gotta have a go, haven't you?
Fanelli's claims to be the 2nd oldest bar in New York having been around since 1847. I was there yesterday to meet Angie and didn't get a chance to finish this drawing, or maybe I did.
well, he was reading, what can I say? I didn't have to go into the city untill the afternoon which, as we all know, makes for a much more pleasant subway ride. just ask the gentleman above but then hey, can't you see he's reading?

On the 5 train to Manhattan. I start to see the same people day in day out because I'm looking for subjects. I'll never know these people in any other way than traveling companions, one can only guess at their lives.
This is a great little resturant near BAM, went there last night and it became an instant favourite. I need to go to BAM more often as well. So much to do.
This bears repititon, click on Brooklyn Eagle link to read a write up this site got. See you Tomorrow.
There seemed to be more laptops than people in the Tea Lounge yesterday. What is eveyone doing? If they're all on chat lines they might be missing the point. If you could e-mail your coffee order then you wouldn't need to talk to anyone at all.
The subway ride home on Fridays always seem to take forever, trains creeping along as opposed to that Monday morning express ride to work. I think the MTA does it on purpose.
This site got a write up in the Brooklyn Eagle which I'm really delighted about. Please go to the Brooklyn Eagle link and check it out.
