These are subway drawings of which I have multiple filled sketchbooks, these I did yesterday on my way into the city. It's turned realy cold here but people in hats are fun to draw.
Here is another look at my new favourite bar. This also represents a new direction with the work although I'm not quite sure of what that direction is. Ultimately I'm putting together a collection for a book and exhibition.
yesterday we went to the Klimt exhibit at the Neue to get inspired and then to the Met to do some drawing. We sat on the balcony and ordered a bottle of wine and got busy.

This is another view of the White Horse Tavern from the dinning room at the end of the bar, you can see the door in the first drawing so I'm sat on the other side. All I'm thinking about when I see this is that the chap in the blue shirt with his back to us hasn't heard from his daughter in a while.
