Love your paintings. You really capture the atmosphere and make me want to visit.
sir.. perfect work .. thanks and congratulations.. perfect...
Beautifully subtle, wonderful lighting as always. One of my very favorites.
Hi Stephen, I was curious about how the final from this bar would end up from the first few sketches you posted. I love the use of aerial perspective to denote the intense depth in such a relatively small working area. Very nice. Two points, as I think that comments should offer something constructive. The hand of the man closest to us on the left side seems lit too much compared to his face and it feels cut-out and, for me, was a bit of a distraction. Also the glass on the lower right is a fun, inviting point of entry. Check your ovals though as they don't seem to match (the liquid to the top brim of the glass). Wonderful detail in the distortion through the glass.Ok, the art director in me will silence now...!
Thanks everyone, i had fun with this one.Matthew, I'll check those point out, it's not tool late to make changes, I did think about the light on the guys hand in particular, I'll have another look,Thanks
