The Return of Pepe

I'm working on the bar book and this is the finish I'm now thinking of for the book. I've been working with Steve Brodner on this project and he is injecting new live into it.

Back to the old Gouache, and to fabulous effect. Brings my old mate Pepe to life. Looks like you're keeping him busy too, which is possibly why he had to take a day off yesterday, as he was knackered after all the pints he's been serving you and all the wiping the bar when you spill beer accidentally dipping your brushes in them. I'm waffling now like a right pooderf....

I went back for another look, and had to comment again. This is bloody gorgeous (and so are you).

You are amazing. This is exactly what I am inspiring to do in watercolors. Looking at your work is such an inspiration. I love the composition!
