book Jacket Rough

This was the color comp for the book jacket for which I took the shots I used for the demo. The project was canceled but this was about 7 years ago now. It looks very dated to me.

Cancelled or not, dated or not, one can but respect your work.

That's a lot of work for a rough. I think it's more retro than dated.

It's your foot print. Time did not washout the quality of an artwork.
I like it.

Got to say the art looks a lot better than the book would have been. I know this is a rough, but having seen you in action, I also know how amazingly fast you can work and produce great results.

Love it. Maybe not a book, but Bernard could not have the coolest Facebook profile pic EVAR. heh.

I agree, more retro these days than dated. It's too bad there's not more thoughtful pulpy sci-fi covers these days. The ones from the 40s and 50s blow me away.

I'd love this type of work to come back into vogue.
