It was Edith's birthday yesterday. She is an author of over 30 romance novels. You can check out her site right here.Her new novel comes out tomorrow. Angie and I have had the good fortune to have thanks giving dinner at Edith's house for more years than I can count right now.

You can really sense that you know this woman-that is what really makes a portrait, don't you think?
You should offer to paint this one.
I felt a lot of pressure to make this one good, Edith has been great to us over the years and it was important to me that she liked thew drawing. She checks my site all the time so I really wanted her to be Sketch of the day.
