This is fantastic. I didn't know how you were going to pull that out, it seemed so mysterious. Is this for a fantasy or horror story? What is the beam wrapped around the tree trunk? If you cannot disclose due to publisher policy I will understand.
Thanks Pyra, the beam wrapped around the tree is called a "Sherman's Bowtie" it is a rail road track that has been melted and wrapped around the tree. Weird right?
