Sarah Step By Step

I built up the values pretty quickly here, I was trying to preserve the cool to warm/blue to orange and keep things loose, I was trying to choose my hard and soft edges and keep a sense of spontaneity. I've been often accused of missing some good stopping places, but when I'm enjoying a painting it can be very hard to stop.
This painting will be on display at the Society of Illustrators from June 9th-August 15th. Or join me for the opening on June 17th.

Color Comp

This is my idea for color, I'm looking to create a cool to warm shift based on a complimentary color palette, blue to orange.
