The title says it all here. I must say, posting these things really does start to tell my age.

This kind of work used to be how I made a living, I've been showing such examples at universities around the NY area. It is such a far cry from what is going on today, students almost can't relate. You can't blame them, this was all pre computor.

I started this demo out at New Jersey City University yesterday and finished it up this morning. What a great class to work in front of, next week they have Greg Manchess going in, I was like a warm up act.

And finally a sketch. We went back to LA last week and it got my jump started, there will be more.

All that red hair! I used red and green as my base for this painting, oxide of chromium and cadmium red being my main flesh colors.
