I'm starting to solve issues within the painting in terms of marrying different reference sources. Trying to keep the lighting consistent is important when using multiple shots and also when making stuff up. so to speak. I really enjoy this process.
The wrist needs to break, Steve— Not be BROKEN, but it would hang, limp, like a wet noodle....Unless you want to talk rigor mortis- and make it pale, it's too warm. Glad the tree's back, never have enough tree. Funny, it almost looks like that car is analternate-side-of-the-street model...
I like this one Steve. I have a thought for what it's worth (probably not a lot). Before reading Jeff's comment I too was looking at the hand thinking perhaps it would look more 'victim-like' if the arm and hand were facing upwards to the sky, with the hand hanging naturally and bent at the wrist? Just a thought.

Helloooo Mr. Tree
The hand looks more dead, mysterious and defined in "First Day". Here it may be a tired college student.
Just my thoughts.

I'll get my coat and leave now...
I'm painting in a new arm today. I trust you'll let me know how it does. The good thing about this process is the feed back. You talk, I listen
Hello
I looked at "Day One" and "Day Two". Love the movement and the tilt in "Day Two".
