Talk about milking it but here we are at the bitter end with a few alterations after last nights crit. Now back to the bar painting.

Getting closer and hoping to finish today.

I'll be posting this in stages. The interesting thing about this one for me is that I'm going to paint it using only red and green and all that lies between. I think this palette will be perfect for the piece and I will be able to take it into class on Wednesday as an example of a painting done in a complementary color palette. Two birds, one stone.

On the train home tonight, last gasp post. The winner for the Adams Family poster was number one the finish is due next Tuesday so look out for that.

Homework 3

The assignment is to create a theatrical poster the the Adams Family on Broadway. We had to come up with three concepts, I want to go with the first one when they are all hung for the curtain call. We'll see what develops as we have class again on Tuesday evening. I'll announce the winner on Wednesday.

This is Dublin House. I'm painting it at night because the most prominant feature is this amazing sign, best seen illuminated. Long way to go on this one.

I only get these on the "A" train due to the seat configuration. It makes a nice change and I have less chance of being spotted by my subjects. Blah blah blah, I'm boring myself this morning.
