Since taking the time to draw my right foot, my left foot has stopped talking to me. I'm going to have to give it the sock without the whole in it to try to make amends.
I'd done a couple of drawings before turning my attention to Angie. She was the picture of concentration and that always makes for a great subject. I. once again have posted her drawing below. The figure behind Angie is Chad Wallace. To see what he was up to go to links and click on......you can work it out from there.
Last night was the drawing class at the Museum of Natural History, every Friday you get a museum drawing, at least for the next few weeks. I didn't take the time to find out what these animals were but what ever they were they looked like this.....ish.
These were done ay the Society of Illustrators on Tuesday night. Angie and I have been going pretty consistantly since my MA program was completed. Life drawing is always a challenge but a night at the Society is always a good time. Angie's drawing is posted below.
Once I'm a few drawings in I allow myself to get more expressive. These drawings are more interesting to me and certainly a direction I want to pursue,

I could probably fill a sketch book with drawings of this bridge alone. I sold this bridge to a tourist once, not something I'm proud of but I did give him a good price.
Last night we went to a drawing class at the Museum of Natural History. It was great to be let loose in such a place after hours. We'll be going each week for a while so there will be a few such drawings coming. A great class, I learned a lot. I don't think they feed their dinosaurs enough though.
Back to the Society last night and we took Iain and Gillian with us. Very impressed that Gillian did some drawing and even more impressed with the results (posted below) I think everbody should draw and Gillian, who works in the science field, is a prime example of someone who should keep at it.
Abandoned his bulldozer outside the Stanton house so we hot wired it and took it for a joy ride. It's diceptively quick, we had it up to 95 on the freeway untill we broadsided it and hit a deer, ironicaly called John. What are the chances
